A
server, provided by us, is installed in your station to provide
a high quality 128kbit 44.1khz mp3 stream of your station's line out
to our internal infratructure. From there, the stream is sent to your
live stream listeners, and also to the archiving system which stores the
stream for later access. Your listeners can then log on to the web based
archive portal where they can listen to anything that has been aired and
then archived by specifying the date and time of the programming, or by
visiting a bookmark for programming that has been tagged or identified by a
DJ or listener. Bookmarks and archive segments can be easily shared on a
wide variety of social networking websites through the use of "AddThis."
Real time statistics on the number and nature of both stream and archive listeners are also available
for the station to monitor and study. All of the streams and all of the archive
content stored by the system are exceptionally high quality 128kbit 44.1hkz mp3s (check out trinity's online stream at this bitrate).
Stream Rewind is in essence a hosted application.
We handle all of the data trasnferred to and from the listeners, we store all of the archive data, we maintain all of the
servers and systems and assure the system's reliability. After it is installed, there is literally no administrative overhead
associated with the maintienece of this system that is incurred by the station itself. All of the content is automatically
archived and stored and be tagged and identified at a later time by either a listener or station personnel. No human intervention
is needed to ensure that your content captured. There are no fees for bandwidth, nor any for data storage. New
installations can be up and running in typically less than a week for a price lower than many stations are paying for limited low-band
streaming solutions. To find out more about what Stream Rewind can do for you, please fill out our contact form.
